In the early 1950s, a visionary named D.P. Sangoi made a momentous move from Kutch to Raipur, setting the stage for a remarkable legacy. Embarking on a humble journey, he laid the foundation with a small rice mill, later expanding it to include a dal mill and a poha mill. The spark of innovation continued when his son, Shantilal, joined forces in 1968 following his Mechanical Engineering education, resulting in a dynamic partnership.
Their shared expertise led to a pivotal moment in 1984 when they migrated to a sprawling 13-acre expanse within the Urla Industrial Estate. An ambitious move that would set the stage for a series of transformative achievements. The inception of a solvent plant in 1986 marked a new era of growth, a testament to their unwavering commitment.
As the years progressed, the Sangoi family business flourished with the integration of his three other sons, each contributing their distinct strengths. Two sons expertly managed financial aspects, while the remaining two oversaw the intricate manufacturing processes. By the turn of the millennium, the family had achieved remarkable milestones - boasting two solvent plants, an edible oil refinery, and a vanaspati manufacturing unit. This ascent propelled them to become the nation's foremost exporter of Sal fat.
The emergence of the eldest grandson into the business fold in the early 2000s ushered in a fusion of seasoned experience and youthful dynamism. United by their shared passion, the Sangoi family forged an unbeatable team. The dawn of 2010 witnessed a significant milestone as all four grandsons assumed pivotal roles within the family enterprise. This era also saw a strategic diversification into the lights and automation vertical, with their inaugural venture being Syska in 2013. This initial step marked the genesis of a remarkable journey.
Fast forward to 2022, a new chapter unfolded with the establishment of a state-of-the-art rice mill, followed closely by the incorporation of a cutting-edge rice parboiling unit in 2023.
